SMOK T-Priv 220W KIT
Today we will talk about the T-Priv fashion from SMOK.
SMOK T-Priv is a model with two batteries, reminiscent of one of the most popular devices of the Chinese manufacturer, X Cube 2. This box has the same style of the Fire button and a customizable LED screen in a slightly more compact package, which makes it easier to keep and use even for users with small hands, like me. The T-Priv also has a higher output power than the X Cube 2 - 220W compared to the 180W - and a much more impressive design that seems to have been inspired by The Transformers.
Let's look at the contents.
Smok T-Priv 220W can be purchased as a separate box-mode, and as part of a ready-made kit, the Whale version. The kit comes in a standard SMOK package, a large rectangular box, featuring the T-Priv and SMOK Baby Beast modes, as well as a brief description, a list of contents and Common warnings and legal data on the back. Inside the box we have the SMOK T-Priv mod, sitting in a styrofoam holder, and under it we have Big Baby Beast, a micro USB cable for charging and firmware updates, a spare glass for TFV8 Big Baby, V8 baby T 8 0.15 ohm, wipe bands, spare o-rings and user's manual. I'm especially pleased to see a spare glass tube for the TFV8, since it practically saves life if you damage the tank, so that it's a very generous package of dopas in general.
Design and build quality:
SMOK T-Priv is not the most innovative mod, since all functions are more than standard. He has all the opportunities that you expect from a modern powerful boxman, so in fact he did not bring anything new. Fortunately, it really stands out thanks to a really cool design. I do not know how to best describe it, so I'll just say that if Optimus Prime or any of its Autobots buddies were Vapers, they probably used something like Smok T-Priv Kit. Fashion design is really similar to something from Transformers, and I would not be surprised if SMOK actually used the popular franchise as inspiration. The mode itself is 86.6 x 48.1 x 32 mm in size, which puts it in the medium-sized category. The most distinctive feature of the T-Priv 220W is the cut-outs in the case on three sides. They are a big part of what gives this fashion its look to Transformers. When the device is turned off, only the white plastic housing underneath them is visible through the cutouts, but when you press the Fire button when it's on, you will see that these cutouts come to life and are lit by the color you specify. Like SMOK X Cube 2, the main feature of the new T-Priv is a customizable LED glow. People who have all kinds of "baubles" and lotions on their device will simply call this function a trick and useless and not practical function, and I think this is right, because it does not improve the performance and technical characteristics of the device in any way.
On the other hand, many people love something original, but here you can just customize it using colors and show it to your peers, this function allows you to do just that. I'm not a big fan of this, and, frankly, what makes Smok T-Priv Starter Kit original, so if you do not do such things, there's a bunch of other mods, with a more rigorous design. SMOK largely replaced the classic power button now it's all the way around the side of the mod and it's on almost all models, and the Smok T-Priv 220W Kit was no exception.
There's a more reliable Fire button, especially compared to the older SMOK H-Priv, which worked fine, but when you pressed the button, a strange sound was made. This Fire button does not swing at all, and when you click on it, a very clear click occurs. The buttons "up" and "down" are on the opposite side with, very close to the top, to make random clicks as unlikely as possible. They work very well, but they walk a little freely and tend to crack a little when you try to shake the mod. True to its roots, X Cube 2, T-Priv has a top OLED display, next to which there are atoms with a diameter of up to 25 mm without the need to sacrifice screen space. In my opinion, the display is not as attractive as Alien or SMOK GX2 / 4, but if you like the old style, like H-Priv, you will find it very similar. By default, the display is pretty bright, but you can increase the brightness even more in the menu.
Connection 510 is very durable. In fact, any atomizer with a diameter of up to 25 mm will sit on the same level with the device, and you need not worry about anything, whether it is overhanging or even any problems when winding up the atomizer.
Finally, the lower battery door is very similar to the SMOK Alien 220W or the new iJoy Captain PD270. It is very durable and easy to open and close. All you need to do is click on it and move it out to open it. The battery compartment has a polarity marking inside, and if you are anyway.
